For the climbing route to Mount Rinjani, the Sembalun route is most often used for both beginners and advanced

Each campsite has a private restroom tent set up for your climbing group to use both in the morning before the climb and in the evening when you arrive at the campsite, thanks to our efforts at Friendly Trekker. It's crucial to keep in mind that the path lacks restrooms, so you'll need to look for bushes when nature calls. If you need to use the restroom during the trek, don't be afraid to ask our guides for assistance finding a location.

April through December is the ideal time of year to climb Rinjani. There may be more rain during the transitional months of April and December. From May through July, the weather is often nice. Due to severe weather and a lot of rain, Rinjani National Park will be closed from January 1 to March 31. Officially, Rinjani National Park's climbing season begins on April 1. You can climb all year round from April to December, unless the volcano is in the rainy season or is just moderately active.
